That's the question that Fox Searchlight is trying to answer with a nationwide search. The studio is looking for an unknown actor to play the role of The Notorious B.I.G./Biggie Smalls. Fox Searchlight has been holding on to the film for quite a while, having optioned it way back in 2005. They're finally getting around to the production, and I couldn't be happier. Problem is, they need someone to play Biggie. According to Cinematical, there was no one outside of Forest Whitaker (who is functionally too old) that came to mind, leading to a nation wide search for an unknown actor to play the slain star. Enter the modern world of user-submitted video auditions. Anyone interested is free to head on over to Fox Searchlight, submit a video, and get things rolling, though I'm guessing a small white Jewish dude like me doesn't stand much of a chance..
