Looks like Lost finally tried our collective patience one too many times: last week's episode only netted 13 million viewers, a significant drop from its typical ratings of 20 million or so.
It's nice to see this goddamn show finally pay for its actions: if I had a dollar for every episode that completely failed to advance the plot in any way (and two dollars for every episode that added another unnecessary complication), I'd have enough money to finally afford film school. The last two seasons have ceased to be entertaining television and have instead become a sort of endurance trial.
Not to mention that the secret behind the magic numbers already been revealed in "The Lost Experience." If you don't already know what they mean, prepare yourself for two things: Firstly, it's completely stupid and anticlimactic, and secondly, it pretty much explains everything else on the island except for The Others.
For those of you who are still watching the show religiously, I don't know whether to respect your determination or pity your naivete. But the good news is, if these shitty ratings continue then the writers will be forced to actually, you know, write episodes that are worth a shit.
