I'm sure you didn't know that already. Anyway, the big winners were The Departed for Best Picture, Forrest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland) for Best Actor, Helen Mirren (The Queen), who I would still bang, for Best Actress, Alan Arkin (Little Miss Sunshine) for Best Supporting Actor, and Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls) for Best Supporting Actress.

Oh yeah, and Martin Scorsese FINALLY GOT A FUCKING BEST DIRECTOR OSCAR.  Marty was surprisingly civil as he accepted his first-ever Academy Award: quite honestly, we at Filmwad were surprised he didn't punch the presenters in the face and angrily shout at the audience, "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? IT'S ABOUT FUCKING TIME, YOU SHITHEADS." 

Anyway, the full list of winners is up at IMDB , if you really wanna know who won Best Makeup and Best Technical Achievements, and all the other stuff nobody cares about.

Still, though, it's irritating to see Children of Men get snubbed in the Cinematography and Editing awards (the latter category being the only award The Departed won and didn't deserve.
