News > The 20 Best "Comic Book" Heroes, you say?

Written by john Lichman

Times Online claims they've assembled the 20 best Comic Book heroes ever brought to film. Judged on costume, general cool and the most important film aspect (money), we're given the best of the best. Or something like that.

But it's no surprise that Spider-Man is listed first, but listing The Incredibles as second and 300 in third?

Times Online needs to get a better definition of "Comic Book Heroes" and not "Films based on Comics."

At least Swamp Thing made it.

Why the hell is Bale's Batman not first? Assholes.

The fact that the Fantastic Four even makes this list shows that the whole thing is a complete bust. Don't take one single ranking on this list seriously. They were too desperate to try and fill out the list of 20 so they included such cinematic turds as the Fantastic Four, Ghostrider, and Mystery Men.

To all you people who will probably flame me for saying Mystery Men sucks: eat me. It wasn't released as some hip, ironic look at comic book heroes. It was pitched as the loser heroes finally come through in the clutch. The only thing is, the loser heroes deserved to die long before they received a chance to save Mr. Ubertastic or whatever Greg Kinnear's character was called.

Arent the incredibles just rip offs of fantastic four (i hate marvel btw)? stretch for stretch shields for shields fire person for fast person and the thing for strong man

i think wolverine is pretty ace.
but in the DC universe, superman is just solid (even tho batman rocks and knows a billion ways to beat superman)
