Spiderman shall live on! MTV is reporting that plans are already in the works to continue the webbed crusader franchise, with pre-production work already beginning for Spiderman 4. That was pretty damn quick, guys. While nothing has been solidified, actor James Cromwell has been running his mouth a bit as of late, revealing that Gwen Stacy and her family will receive signficantly more face time in the as yet to be officially announced 4th installment. This comes as a welcome relief, with fans around the world frustrated with the rise of Mary Jane Watson, and her concurrently annoying actress Kirsten Dunst, in place of a more authentic development of Spidy's relationship with Ms. Stacy. The outcome remains to be seen, but this glimmer of hope has us placing a bit more faith in the Spiderman dynasty after a lackluster showing in movie #3.
