News > Some "The Dark Knight" news

Batman On Film is serving up some fresh nuggets. First off, the logo for "The Dark Knight" has been released. Check it out:

Okay, now some tidbits, which fanboys like me should love. Apparently, The Joker's neck isn't white – it's flesh colored. There's apparently a "reason" for this…but mum's the word. In addition, The Joker wears a purple suit and the previously rumored "gash smile" is actually a "cut smile." Either way, The Joker's smile is sliced into his face.

Since dumping Katie Holmes and replacing her with Maggie Gyllenhaal, the character Rachel has a bigger part now. Probably because Maggie Gyllenhaal can act…and Katie Holmes cannot.

Cillian Murphy's Scarecrow character is back…but one assumes it'll be in a cameo "oh look, he's in Arkham" role.

The Batsuit is changing as well and is described as more fabric, less rubber. That's a good move because the batsuit from "Batman Begins" felt like a holdover from the George Clooney years, where everything else was changed.

And lastly, "Montoya yes, Bullock no."
