News > Scorsese, Hopper and More Will Appear in Documentary
Written by David Morgan
Martin Scorsese, Dennis Hopper, Mark Rydell, Owen Roizman and Haskell Wexler will appear in a documentary discussing the accomplishments of Hungarian cinematographers Laszlo Kovacs and Vilmos Zsigmond. The doc will be called Laszlo & Vilmos: The Story of Two Refugees Who Changed the Look of American Cinema (catchy title, guys). The film is being written and directed by James Chressanthis. I'm sure this will be the biggest thing in film circles for a little bit, but if there are two things the American public hate, they are documentaries and names that are difficult to pronounce.
