News > Sam Jackson to do the "Unthinkable"

Gregor Jordan, director of the upcoming Bret Easton Ellis adaptation "The Informers," has scored another gig directing a thriller called "The Unthinkable," starring Samuel L. Jackson. According to Variety, the "story centers on a major threat to the United States when the locations of three nuclear devices are shrouded in secrecy by a single terrorist. With only two days before they are deployed, a black-ops interrogator and a female FBI agent have to decide how far they will go to find them."

Marco Weber and Caldecot Chubb of Senator Entertainment are producing this love letter to the Department of Homeland Security, and the plan is to begin shooting on September 2nd in Michigan. Well, we'll finally get to see what "24" would have been like if Sam Jackson had been cast as Jack Bauer. Actually, that sounds pretty fantastic.
