Between Justice League and G.I. Joe, it seems like the faint murmur of any name will send the gazillions of tubes on the Interweb into a tizzy. This time it looks like Ray Park is the latest name to be sent into the rumor mill–this time claiming he's going to play Snake Eyes in G.I. Joe.
You may remember Park foremost as the double-bladed lightsaber not-so-bad ass Darth Maul from Episode 1, or maybe you can remember his being the foil for the weirdest weather joke ever in X-Men as Toad. God help you if you had to watch him act–or paid a ticket for–Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever.
While nothing is confirmed on his IMDB (although he is going to play a young Chuck Norris for a Bruce Lee TV show apparently and comic kung-fu master Iron Fist), Slashfilm is positive he's been cast according to an unnamed source.
But, that's why we're saying this is just rumor mill goodness. Park's good with the physical stuff, bad with the line delivery. Snake Eyes could be the perfect role for him…then again, it'd be the perfect role for any accomplished stunt man.
