After Karl Urban dropped out of the upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine, where he was scheduled to play Victor Creed–who any Mighty Marvel fan worth their salt knows what name he takes on. Whether or not he's Wolvie's daddy is still a debate.
CHUD has word that after Urban wasn't interested, they're shifting their sights onto Gerard Butler. Butler can do physical, he can do screaming and he can definitely do all sorts of chest-thumping moments that would make a comic geek proud. But then one only must think back to X-Men's Sabertooth, Tyler Mane. Now what Tyler lacked in acting ability, he surely made up with his scary size and figure, which has been the key factor to Victor Creed's reign of terror on Logan's life.
Christopher Campbell writes over at Cinematical, "the actor needs to be blonder, and naturally so. Maybe Butler could pass for the character with a bleach job all over, but I'd rather not be thinking about it being Butler with a bleach job all over."
But he does point out this would be Creed and not Sabertooth. Then again, I never saw a difference between the two.

And who cares if they don't make Sabertooth blonde? Since when have movies ever been completely faithful to source material? Hair color means very little to me. Pinning down the character, and his personality mean much more.
