Dimension Films has acquired movie rights to “O.C.T.: Occult Crimes Taskforce,” an Image Comics series that launched in July reports Variety.

Dimension is crafting the project as a producing and star vehicle for Rosario Dawson as she co-created and co-writes the comic. In fact the protaganist is an animated version of her.

She’ll play a New York City police detective who, after stumbling upon a gruesome and bizarre crime scene, is enlisted for a covert squad that uses black arts and mystical weaponry to hunt down and kill soul-sucking ghouls.
