News > Robert Rodriguez to Reboot Predator

20th Century Fox has tapped Robert Rodriguez to reboot the Predator series.  According to Bloody Disgusting Rodriguez will produce the Predator film that will have multiple Predator's.

"In the reboot a team of commandoes face down a mysterious race of vicious monsters." No writer has been attached yet - and there is no script.

 No word on if Rodriguez is going to direct the film or hand over the reigns.

Rodriguez once wrote two scripts for "Predator 3". One took place at a ship in the 17th century (Pirates vs. Predator!), while the second one was about Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Glover's characters being taken to the alien planet, as trophies.
