Clive Barker's "Hellraiser," and the loveable Cenobite named Pinhead, are due for the inevitable remake treatment, thanks to Dimension pictures and scribes Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo.

Despite wavering success rates, studios seem hellbent (pun intended) on making more remakes, more horror films and, when possible, horror remakes. Dimension in particular should know better, after their "Halloween" remake failed to meet expectations.

Maury and Bustillo previously wrote the horror flick "Supernatural," also to be distributed by Dimension.
