The Coen Brothers' profiles have never been higher. They've each got multiple Oscars under their belt for a dark, suspenseful, and downright superb thriller. Leave it to them to throw the prestige away for a few laughs. And I mean that in a good way.
Apple.com has a new red band trailer for "Burn After Reading," a neo-screwball comedy about a pair of gym employees (Brad Pitt and Frances McDormand) who stumble across a CD full of CIA secrets accidentally left behind by an intense spook (John Malkovich). And then somehow George Clooney, Tilda Swinton, and J.K. Simmons are involved. It looks like the Coens at their comedic peak (i.e. "The Big Lebowski," "Raising Arizona") and who doesn't want to see what Malkovich is going to do with that hatchet?
"Burn After Reading" will be released in theaters September 12th.
