On Matthew McConaughey as Captain America? at 05/12/2008 8:57pm

I think it would be awesome to have Captain America say "AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!!... and lets take off our shirts."

On Uwe Boll Lashes Out Against Anti-Uwe Boll Petition at 04/11/2008 08:19am

Uwe Boll has to be the worst film maker ever on the face of the earth. His films are so bad they can't even gain some semblance of Cult status for being so bad (a la Ed Wood). You don't get the sense that it's some eccentric individual who's just misunderstood and can't properly convey his ideas to the modern world, you just see that the film was made by someone who just doesn't have a clue at all. That said, I don't think anyone has the right to try and force him to stop doing what he's doing.

That said, Michael Bay got a real good shot in there.

On Church, Hudson Star in "Big Eyes" at 04/07/2008 11:09pm

Man... I'm so disappointed. I thought the "Hudson" in the title was Ernie Hudson.

On More Riddick On the Way at 11/20/2007 12:50pm

The whole reason the 2nd film tanked was because the Riddick character is not made for a large scale epic sci-fantasy picture. Pitch Black worked because it was a great script, and character for a low-budget, gritty, and dark storyline. Honestly though, I think they wrote themselves into a hole. How can you go back to what Riddick was? Prequel? Maybe to do more backstory on Riddick and Cole Hauser's character?

On New Regency to Make The Candy Shop War at 10/02/2007 6:12pm

Well everyone knows that every childrens fantasy film is a Harry Potter rip-off. Even the ones made before Harry Potter, I mean come on ... Escape From Witch Mountain. What a rip.

On Chan Says Forbidden Kingdom "Not that Great" at 10/02/2007 6:06pm

I've been to China, and sub sequentially have watched an ass load of Chinese action films with Chinese friends. The Chinese do definately have a different taste in action films than westerners. They often consider the best of our action as crude and at best "just trying to be fast". After watching the Chinese films I can honestly understand their point of view. I do wish they would do something much more graceful, and challenging in Hollywood.
