On If Juno wins anything other than Best Actress, I'll gnaw my arms off at 01/25/2008 2:52pm

I haven't listened to anything the academy has said in a long time. All the award shows are meaningless. Just one producer giving another a pat on the back so they can each stuff each other's wallets.

On Uwe Boll Heads Back to the Minors at 01/16/2008 3:47pm

STOP THIS MAN!!

On Will Cloverfield Bomb? at 01/16/2008 3:46pm

I'm glad I haven't been able to find any spoilers for this. I know they are out there, but I stopped looking a while ago.

On No Justice After All? at 01/11/2008 09:36am

The thing about doing a justice league flick though, is that it is assumed that everyone watching is already familiar with the heroes/powers, and their origins. So all you really need is a solid story, and no Solomon Grundy. By the way, has anyone figured out why they decided to make antman into a movie?? I mean, it's friggin Antman, who cares??

On Another Insane Michel Gondry Idea at 01/11/2008 09:32am

Turns into a chair?? Is that like some kind of weird sexual thing they do in tokyo where women are used as chairs for Japanese men to sit on, or does that mean she actually turns into a lay-z-boy??

On New Iron Man Photo Revealed! at 01/09/2008 3:30pm

Going to be crazy good.

On Kusama to Direct Jennifer's Body at 01/08/2008 2:47pm

they got my money as soon as Megan fox was involved.

On Showalter to Direct Night of the Living Dorks at 01/07/2008 3:12pm

This is going to be gold. Showalter is a freaking comedic master. "Cinamon Milk" is the best thing ever.

On Singleton to Direct The A-Team Movie at 12/17/2007 09:21am

I have no words that appropriately describe the anger I have towards this. This is going to be a terrible blunder, no amount of old school Cameos can save this, no jokes at their own expense. This is just a bad idea.

On Ruben Fleischer May Direct Zombieland at 12/17/2007 09:18am

Look on the bright side, at least "Shaun of the Dead" didn't create a whole bunch of unfunny Zombie-Comedies. These have great potential if looked at through the eyes of the real world.

On Stephen Baldwin Talks Bio-Dome 2? at 12/11/2007 3:30pm

I'm pretty sure that alot of people like me went through a Pauly Shore Phase, and then Grew out of it. I mean hell, look at Pauly shore, even he out grew his Pauly shore days, so I can't even begin to understand the thinking behind this one.

On A Video Look at Speed Racer and Racer X at 12/05/2007 5:56pm

I'm not a big Speed Racer Fan, but I am a fan of the car. This is going to be an awesome flick.

On Trachtenberg and Hardin Join 17 at 12/04/2007 2:34pm

Wow, what comes after this?? The dad dies and comes back as ghost so he can be closer to his children?? Oh wait, they already did that, but then again, they already did this one too.

On Craig Reassures Fans About Bond 22 and its Amounts of "Humour" at 11/28/2007 08:38am

So then this will be the second non Ian Flemming Bond?? I hope it's not as "Bad" as Never say Never Again.

On Christian Bale as John Connor in Terminator 4? at 11/26/2007 10:40am

Bale as a Terminator would be such a waste of his acting talent. All of the Terminators so far have been emotionless, well, robots. If he were to play John Conner, that would be a better use, but honestly, what kind of range could a person fighting emotionless robots have?? Maybe the same kind as a person fighting emotionless dragons?? Before anyone says that Bale should have beeter sense than to play in a so-so action flick, please remember that he was in the extraordinary "Reign of Fire." I myself will probably see it one way or the other, because Bale is quite possibly the best actor to come around in the past few years.

On Great Movies, Lame Messages at 11/26/2007 09:47am

To address your second point in the Dogma critique, the movie doesn't address the massacre at the end of the flick because the movie wasn't about those people. If you got hung up on the fate of those people, and that's what made you not like anything by Kevin Smith since you were 17 (sooooooo cool by the way because you don't like Kevin Smith), then you really need to look at what defines your opinions. You will not find anyone that can write better dialouge, or more relatable dialouge than Kevin Smith, and there isn't one person working today that can make such average normal characters so multi-dimensional. In all fairness though, the rest of the article was very good.
