On Why the Bourne Series is the Best American Film Trilogy Ever Made at 08/10/2007 6:44pm
In reference to bringing back Bourne, I think it'd be retreading the path of Rambo. They took a film about what the horrors of war do to someone and how difficult it is to assimilate back into society and turned it into a series of films with no point except to show off Rambo's skills. Any further Bourne movies would be the same thing. While its a good action film, I thought the premise of Supremacy was shaky enough and am happy that the final film closed off the narrative instead of just another film showcasing Bourne "kicking ass".
