On New Sheriff in Town at 07/15/2008 11:44am

One of the posts you should be removing is the Guillermo Del Toro piece directly below this post. Calling a director not named Uwe Boll an "asshat" isn't news, it's pure opinion. If you would like to maintain a credible site, I suggest reigning in the writers and giving them some journalism tips.

On Guillermo del Toro on the many projects he's turned down, including Se7en at 07/14/2008 7:38pm

Umm, did the site get hacked or something? I'm noticing a serious drop in the journalistic integrity of a few recent posts. I hope this site isn't turning into a glorified flame board for people.

On New Trailer for "Harold" at 06/30/2008 4:41pm

That looks like it could be pretty damn funny. Seeing Cuba Gooding Jr. in it worries me though. He hasn't made a good comedy since, since...hmm...

On 15 Movies Where Comedians Lost Their Funny at 06/23/2008 6:59pm

At least Denis Leary got his funny back with Rescue Me. The rest of the people on the list have yet to recover, including Eddie Murphy, barring the fluke that was the first Nutty Professor movie, and possibly Doctor Doolittle which was alright. Did I just write that? Oh crap, my penis just inverted.

On FW FEATURE: Movies that peaked in the first ten minutes at 06/16/2008 1:34pm

David, Adam Goldberg's character was killed by the German that they let go. I've seen Saving Private Ryan about 4 times in its entirety and a half a dozen times in 1 hour increments on tv. This film does not suffer by having such an intense opening. In fact, it is the intensity of the opening that helps to maintain suspense throughout a good portion of the movie. After watching the Omaha Beach landing, the viewer is buzzing for a great deal of time. Any other great action scene in the first act or second act would just seem over the top. I loved everything about the film, from the characters, to the pacing, and feel that it does not deserve to be on this list.

On Another Set-Back for Uwe Boll and "Postal" at 05/22/2008 11:44am

What is this guy's fucking problem? There is no possible way that if he had an ounce of sanity that he could think that Postal would beat Indy 4 at the b.o. At a certain point, directors and studio execs need to stop deluding themselves and start making realistic predictions when it comes to revenue and profit. Start reducing budgets on summer blockbusters, start bringing special effects houses into studios, stop paying for the ridiculous demands of actors and actresses and start seeing bigger profit margins.

On Lost Boys 2: The Tribe trailer is here at 03/13/2008 7:00pm

Wow. Just wow. Umm, can they add more motorcycle and skateboard jumps? I think that would help....*sigh*...I feel like a childhood memory of mine has been raped inside my skull. Fuck whoever decided to greenlight this piece of shit.

On LaBeouf talks Indy 4, Transformers 2, Y The Last Man at 01/22/2008 6:30pm

Seriously, from the sound of the plot, the only way this movie would be effective would be as a porno. And none of that soft core crap either!

On Rumor: Bailey Chase Up for the Role of Gambit? at 01/02/2008 1:27pm

"Crappy powers", are you fucking retarded? He can basically blow anything up. I'm sorry he can't fly, or freeze stuff, or be the dad you obviously never had as a child, but he could blow up the rotating cast of bad "uncles" that your mom constantly "wrestled" with in her schnapps fueled weekends. Don't even get me started on how awesome Boba Fett is.

I ban you from the interwebs forever!

On Ironbow, Castlevania Stalled at 12/06/2007 12:54pm

Great...can we just pay the writers what they fucking deserve already so everyone can get back to the business of making mediocre movies? Is that too much to ask?

On Japanese CGI "Resident Evil" Feature Coming at 10/31/2007 5:52pm

RE4 on the Wii makes me pee myself a little bit when I play. Not a lot, just a little bit.

On Underworld 3 is confirmed. Cool? at 10/26/2007 6:53pm

Underworld with no Kate Beckinsale you say? That's like midget porn with people over 5 feet. You disgust me Hollywood.

On Mann and DeNiro return for Frankie Machine at 10/25/2007 4:07pm

Please, please, pleeease don't let this suck.

On Harold & Kumar Title Change at 10/23/2007 6:11pm

This sounds like it is going to go the route of Van Wilder 2. Rent it...you'll see what I mean.

On Bill Bob Thornton Up for Eagle-Eye? at 10/23/2007 4:46pm

Every Rosario Dawson fan (read: male) in the world should chip in a few bucks to up her pay in Zach and Miri. I mean, you can't make a movie about making a porn without some quality nudity right? I'll even throw in the first 5 bucks.

On Coppola attacks De Niro, Pacino and Nicholson at 10/19/2007 7:36pm

All of the original points sound like compliments to me, but the final statement is flat out untrue. Anyone who saw The Departed knows that Jack has the energy and drive to bring power to a role.

On Anthony Hopkins is gonna have to choke a bitch at 10/19/2007 7:27pm

The title should be "Sir Anthony Hopkins is gonna have to choke a bitch." He is a bitch choking knight and deserves respect!

On Die Hard DVD will Contain Electronic Copy of Movie Too at 10/17/2007 5:05pm

Unless the digital copy happens to be the director's cut, I can't see paying for this Die Hard lite bs. Hollywood needs to get the message, stop butchering R rated movies so you can squeeze a few more ducats out of the teens. Teenagers download movies on the Internet or see them even if they're rated R, so you're only screwing yourselves out of the lucrative "post college dude" demographic.

On De Palma Talks Up Untouchables Prequel at 10/17/2007 5:02pm

Someone must have found a way to clone Gerard Butler, I swear he's in every movie coming out in the next 5 years. Hopefully this won't suck, just have Malone kick Capone into a giant pit in the middle of a street while yelling "This is Chicago!!!" That would be sweet....is it still opposite day? My head hurts.

On Fox responds to Hitman rumors at 10/12/2007 1:03pm

Typical studio scramble to quash to doubts. Too many chefs fuck this film up. Maybe I'll rent it, maybe I will have my "Korean connection" get it for me. Either way, unless there are head shots, and plenty of them, I won't be seeing this in the theater.
