I'm done arguing over the fact of if Transformers was good or not. That is simply a matter that will be left to opinion. All I want is to stop this constant bashing of Michael Bay. He may no be the best director, but he isn't horrible. And we cannot talk as if all of the faults lie with him. Remember that the script has to be written, and that was done by another person. And the producers were most likely at fault as well. Stop making Bay into your scapegoat and get over your insanely high expectations.

Here's the thing that everyone must realize. Yes; the characters from the show are beloved icons. Yes; the toys were awesome. Yes; the fan base is bigger than the Vatican. But 1. The show is from the 80's. And 2. The cartoon was not all that great either. Most of the voice acting sucked, the editing was almost nonexistent and the animation was...... well from the 80's. So I believe that Michael Bay did a fairly decent job of taking this franchise and bringing it to the new era. He isn't all that bad, seriously take a look at some of his movies. Armageddon had become a classic in certain ways. So the movie will have a sequel get over it. If you don't like it; don't see it. If you really need a Tranformers movie go see the animated movie from 1986.
