This letter is probably one of the best I've read this year. Thank you! I have always boggled at parents who bring their screaming kids to movies they have no business seeing. And I'm sure that my comment will be met with, "You prude!" But seriously: what kid needs to see Hostel II or anything even remotely like it?

Secondly, infants and movies don't mix - period. An infant can't tell its poop from its pacifier. You're telling me your infant is special and can understand the intricacies of movie making? I don't think so, Tim. Also, I have no problem having an usher throw their asses out on the street. I did not pay $9 + to hear your baby screaming. As you said, if you bring your baby to a movie, you're a selfish prick who should have left the babyraising to someone else.

And finally, I've got to say, as a white girl, I was fucking surprised to read that the couple were minorities. I'd say that nine out of ten couples that I've seen do this with kids have been white. I figured it was a case of "I can do what I want and screw the rest of you" white superiority on their part. But honestly: I still believe that white couples do this way more than anyone. I swear to God I think it's that sense of entitlement that so many have. But it can also be a grand case of fucking stupidity. Though I really think both go hand and hand.
