Paul Dano, the 23-year-old co-star of There Will Be Blood, has been cast in an "offbeat" romantic comedy entitled Gigantic. The plot, according to The Hollywood Reporter, "revolves around a mattress salesman (Dano) and a young woman (Zooey Deschanel) he meets at his store."

The script was written by Matt Aselton and Adam Nagata, and Aselton will make his directorial debut with the film. Production is expected to begin in New York in March.
