Whoa. This one came out of left field. The National Enquirer is reporting that everyone's favorite deadpan funny-man Owen Wilson was rushed to a  Los Angeles area hospital after allegedly slicing his wrists and consuming an undisclosed quantity of pills. Yikes!  A family member discovered Wilson in a comatose state,and immediately summoned help. He was transferred to a second hospital after being stabilized, and is currently going through a detoxification process. This story is sure to snowball out of control in the coming days, but I for one was completely shocked by the news. I suppose it goes to show that outward appearances can be absurdly misleading, especially in Hollywood.
