Two days after Owen Wilson's attempted suicide, the actor has reportedly (according to Variety) decided not to appear in Ben Stiller's ensemble comedy Tropic Thunder. That's a bit of an understatement, I suppose.

For those who were skeptical (and rightly so) of National Enquirer as the primary source on the funnyman's suicide attempt, IMDb is now reporting that the LAPD has confirmed this prognosis. Here's hoping he gets the help he needs and starts making people laugh again in short order.
