Editorials > New "Dark Knight" Viral Site Revealed: Clown Travel Agency

The minds behind the marketing of Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" have created yet another viral website to promote the forthcoming "Batman Begins" sequel. This one is called "Clown Travel Agency" and it is supposedly set to launch Tuesday, April Fool's Day. This comes to us by way of the Dark Knight's Unofficial Movie Blog, who also brought to our attention the recent anti-Harvey Dent campaign over at "Concerned Citizens for a Better Gotham."

I personally find the whole viral campaign the WB press people are running very amusing, because is there really any need to get out the word that there's a Batman sequel coming out? If it weren't for "Indy 4," I'd say "The Dark Knight" is a safe bet for the most anticipated film of the year.

Indy 4 will be a good film as well, but it'll still fall under the same format as the earlier Indys (which were still great). Nolans revamping of the Batman franchise has set a precedence in the "superhero genre" Superior casting, cinematography, and story telling. For me, this has been the most anticipated film since I heard everyone was back on board for another installment after Begins. Also, after seeing just a small portion of Hedgers taking on the Joker role, it's made it all the more exciting. His death was a terrible tragedy, but in terms of this film, I think it'll make his character all the more scary.

I think a lot of people (myself included) are looking forward to "The Dark Knight "more, but considering "Indy 4" has been talked about and awaited for nearly twenty years, that's GOT to trump it on anticipation.
