News > Masterson Brothers to star in Made

Written by David Morgan

Christopher Masterson, Danny Masterson, Bijou Phillips, Patrick Warburton, and George Segal will star in Made for Each Other, an indie romantic comedy about infidelity. The Hollywood Reporter describes it as concerning Dan (Christopher Masterson), a newlywed who, frustrated by the fact that he hasn't consummated his marriage after three months of marriage, sleeps with his boss and sister-in-law (played by Lauren German) and is racked by guilt. His friends convince him that the best way to alleviate these feelings is to get an actor to sleep with his wife (Phillips), thus evening things out. The actor they select is Mack Mackenzie (Warburton), star of the touring show Waterworld the Musical.

George Segal plays the married playboy father, a variation on Jack Gallo from Just Shoot Me!. Samm Levine (Freaks and Geeks), Kyle Howard (My Boys), and Danny Masterson (That 70s Show) play Dan's friends. Danny Masterson's character is also an attorney looking forward to handling the sure-fire divorce. The film is currently being shot in Connecticut by director Daryl Goldberg based on a screenplay by Eric Lord.
