Forgive the corny headline, but Variety reports that Universal has bought the film rights to the 1999 BBC miniseries, Second Sight.
The series, starring Clive Owen, tracked the exploits of a detective who struggles to solve a murder before he goes blind.
At this point it's unknown whether Owen will actually participate in the film, considering he has a lot on his plate right now (Sin City 2, The International, etc).
