Lindsay Lohan is jumping aboard the maternity comedy wagon a bit late in the game for "Labor Pains," a laugher in which Lohan fakes her own pregnancy to avoid being fired from her job at a military publisher. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she'll be joined by SNL alum Chris Parnell and Connie Britton ("Spin City"). Cheryl Hines and Luke Kirby have also been cast (Variety).
Lohan's character tells her boss that she is pregnant to keep her job, but she quickly finds other areas of her life improving as well. Commercial director Laura Shapiro will helm from a script she wrote with TV writer Stacey Kramer.
Let's take a guess at the review headlines for this movie in ten months: "Love's Labor's Lost in the 'Pains' of This Mess," and "Would Have Preferred a Cesarean."
