300 and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles star Lena Headey will appear opposite Josh Lucas in Scott Free Productions' psychological thriller Tell-Tale. Michael Cuesta is directing the film inspired by the short story by Edgar Allan Poe The Tell-Tale Heart.

The contemporized adaptation sees Lucas starring as a single father whose recently transplanted heart leads him on a frantic search to find the donor's killer before a similar fate befalls him.

Perhaps "loosely inspired by The Tell-Tale Heart" would be more appropriate phrasing since the two stories have virtually nothing in common. Talk about giving a classic "the Hollywood treatment." 

Ridley and Tony Scott are producing along with Michael Costigan, Martin Shore, and Christopher Tuffin. Shooting is scheduled for mid-March through late April in Rhode Island.
