John Leguizamo (Love in the Time of Cholera) and Freddy Rodriguez (Grindhouse: Planet Terror) have signed on to star in Humboldt Park, a family dramedy directed by Alfredo De Villa (Washington Heights). The screenplay was written by Rick Najera, Ted Perkins and Alison Swan. According to Variety, "story revolves around the return of three siblings to their parents' home for the holidays in Humboldt Park on Chicago's northwest side." Sounds like a Latino This Christmas. State Street's Robert Teitel and George Tillman Jr. will produce.
