Okay…woah. One of the biggest cult classics of all time, "Clash of the Titans," is getting the remake treatment…by one of Hollywood's living legends, "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "Empire Strikes Back" scribe Lawrence Kasdan! This is big, crazy news.
Looks like Warner Brothers is responsible for this dream pairing. Thanks, you wonderful, wonderful people (we'll of course turn on you if you screw this up).
For those of you who don't know, the filck centers around Zeus' son, Perseus. He is given several tasks by Zeus in order to save Princess Andromeda, which includes the famous story of the death of Medusa. The original pic had Ray Harryhausen stop motion effects which are classic…I wonder how they'll do this one.
Regardless…wow.
