Kevin "I've made seven movies but still haven't managed to develop my own directorial style yet" Smith is directing the pilot of the upcoming dark comedy show, Reaper. The show evidently follows a teenager who dies and finds out that his parents sold his soul to the devil and now must become a Grim Reaper in order to repay his debt to Satan.

I really liked this show the first time I watched it, when it was called Dead Like Me. I can only assume that the protagonist of Reaper cannot be as frumpily cute (frute?) as Ellen Muth .
