King of Queens star Kevin James will star as well as write the upcoming comedy, Mall Cop according to The Hollywood Reporter.

No director is currently attached, but the film will be produced by Adam Sandler's Happy Madison productions and Sony.

The plot focuses on a mall security guard who happens upon a team of thieves and tries to stop them.
