Jessica Biel has been tapped for the lead in crime thriller Die a Little, a Richard Gladstein production at United Artists. According to Variety, the novel by Megan Abbott follows a schoolteacher and her LAPD brother as their lives are "turned upside down by a mysterious woman."
The novel is set in 1954 but the film will play out in the present day. Marcia and Geoffrey Blake are writing the screenplay. Biel will also produce the film with her partner Michelle Purple. This will be her second outing as a producer after the forthcoming Hole in the Paper Sky.
