In a video interview on Collider, Jack Black parts the heavens to give new details on his upcoming comedy, Year One, directed by Harold Ramis:
"The Year One is a biblical comedy, it's about the old testament. I'm just a dude wandering through biblical times. I'm not a famous character that you would have heard of before. Me and Michael Cera are just sort of wandering through and you get to see all these old stories from the Torah told through agnostic eyes."
Filming in Louisiana and co-starring David Cross, Christopher "McLovin" Mintz-Plasse, and Oliver Platt, this could easily be yet another comedy hit for the explosive Apatow Productions company. Due to the writer's strike, this is being filmed off the original script with no rewrites, but hell, Jack Black and Michael Cera tromping around the Torah? Count me in, vengeful gods or no.
