Ridley Scott must be thrilled his real life crime drama was swatted down by a CGI-bee over the weekend, so it's a surprise his next feature will be the the supposedly sci-fi Stones.
The film revolves around the destruction of religious sites around the world, and discovery that Stonehenge is the central point of power for these artifacts. This'll be scripted by Matthew Cirulnick, best known for scripting the video game True Crime: Streets of New York and working on two untitled projects with McG and Ice Cube, respectively. The original idea for Stones came from Elysium, a drama interweaving with Greek myth according to Variety.
