Jason Moore, a huge fan of the A Nightmare on Elm Street series, was sentenced to life in prison for fashioning a knife-finger glove like the one Freddy Krueger wears in the films, and then cutting the living hell out of his 57 year old roommate as he slept.  The glove used in the attack was the fourth glove Moore constructed, and the first dated back to the 1980s when the first film was released.

Said Leicester police Deputy Sergeant Gary Rogers, who investigated the attack:

"This was probably the most horrific weapon I have ever seen. The victim could have been seriously injured and will live with the trauma for the rest of his life."
