Editorials > First "review" of Cloverfield is in! Gather round, fanboys.

And guess what? Well, I'll make you wait for a few seconds. No doubt you're still sluggish after yesterday–or else you're bleary-eyed and checking this from an Apple store at your local mall. You're desperate for good news on this Black Friday, as women and children scream and wave their wares around in the air like some frenzied feeding.

Borys Kit spoke to a source for The Hollywood Reporter's Risky Biz blog that saw Cloverfield. And guess what? Mikey liked it! Mikey eats anything!

"Mikey" also went unnamed and, as Borys mentions, the only people who were let into this test screening on the Paramount lot were "people in suits." So what does anonyo-suit-"Mikey" have to say about it? Allow Borys' point-by-point breakdown to answer that:

The person we talked to was very afraid of Abrams and Paramount too, but we did find out a few things:

1) The whole movie is in the mold of "The Blair Witch Project"/shaky home video camera. "It was bit disorienting in the beginning, but then you get really into it," said our guy.

2) Monster…or monsters? There's more than one!

3) Our guy liked it: "It definitely lives up to the hype."

There you have it: a vague opinion from someone you don't know.

Ah, Internet. Is there nothing you can't give a vague opinion on?
