Director Eli Roth, of Hostel fame, is on board to act in the upcoming Tarantino film, Inglorious Bastards. In it, he will play a baseball bat wielding Nazi Hunter named Sgt. Donnie Donowitz. Roth and Tarantino previously worked together briefly in Tarantino's segment of Grindhouse and directed the fake (and hilariously twisted) trailer for a holiday slasher flick titled, Thanksgiving.

Brad Pitt is already in talks to play Aldo Raine, the leader of a band of Jewish-American soldiers who have it in for Nazis in France.

The film is slated for production this fall in Europe courtesy of the Weinstein Company and Universal.
