Looks like "SNL" alum and "The Nutty Professor" star Eddie Murphy will throwing in the towel.
Extra (obviously our favorite news source) got this quote out of Murphy:
"I have close to fifty movies and it's like, why am I in the movies?" he said, adding, "I've done that part now. I'll go back to the stage and do standup."As a huge fan of Murphy's earlier, raunchier work (especially his stand up films), this actually sounds like a good idea. But since this is Hollywood, expect a "Norbit 2" by the summer of 2011. No way he's sticking to his retirement.
