The honeymoon is over. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck (along with their partner Sean Bailey) have dissolved their production company, the inexplicably named LivePlanet multimedia company. The eight year old troupe had a deal with Disney that expired on December 31st. Variety says that Bailey will continue alone with all of the projects that LivePlanet had been working on under his new shingle Idealogy Inc. (at least LivePlanet wasn't a pun).
The given reasons for the split have to do with Damon's busy acting schedule and Affleck's budding directorial career. Bailey says that he's determined to "continue to grow a production company" and has a number of projects on his slate, including the Tron remake, an action film called Liberty, and the Jennifer Garner-starring Sabbatical.
