Here's a glimpse at Tom Cruise in his latest role: Ron Howard.

Actually, as the title tells you, this is Cruise on the set of Ben Stiller's upcoming Tropic Thunder, the star-powered comedy where a group of actors filming a war movie are forced to take on their roles to protect the island they're filming on. But Cruise has been a happy rumor for the film, with no other mention of his character or role aside from it being Tom Cruise. 

Of course, it looks like Ben Stiller brings out the best of the actor and poking fun at himself. Or Ron Howard. Seriously, this looks like Ron Howard.
