Clifton Collins Jr., best known for his roles in Capote and Traffic, has joined the cast of J.J. Abrams' Star Trek, the eleventh movie in that franchise's series. Variety reports that he will play Ayel, the "cohort and general" to the evil Nero, played by Eric Bana. Considering how often we post a story about Star Trek casting, there's really no need for a recap on Collins' co-stars is there? Well, okay.  He joins Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, Eric Bana, Winona Ryder, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Morrison, Bruce Greenwood, and of course Leonard Nimoy.
