Pierce Brosnan and Susan Sarandon have been cast in a family drama written and directed by newcomer Shana Feste called "The Greatest." In the words of Variety, "The drama revolves around a young girl who throws into chaos a family that is trying to get over the loss of a teenage son," with Brosnan and Sarandon playing the parents of the deceased boy. My guess? The girl throwing everything out of whack is pregnant with the child of their late son. Think about it, pregnancy is still big in the movies these days. Should we expect a lot of contenders trying to grab that "Knocked Up"/"Juno" dollar? No, but a few can be anticipated and I think this is one of them. Shooting will begin this summer in the Eastern U.S.
Brosnan will also be an executive producer on the film, and in case you didn't know, his production company is called "Irish DreamTime." Classy.
