A stuntman was delivering James Bond's 130 pound ($259,000) Aston Martin to the set of "Quantum of Solace" Saturday morning during a heavy rain storm when he lost control of the car and drove it into Lake Garda in Northern Italy. The unnamed stuntman (correction: former stuntman) managed to swim out of the wreckage with only minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. The Aston Martin did not fare as well.

As you can see, she's seen better days. The good news (aside from the fact that no one was badly hurt) is that the producers of the film ordered five identical Aston Martins, though two have already been sprayed with bullet holes. It's not clear whether or not a replacement car will be ordered, or if the producers will have to devise a creative way to resolve the situation.
What a waste. Next year's Oscar "In Memoriam" montage is going to be a crowded one.
