Word on the street is that Bill Nighy will resume his role as Viktor and Shane Brolly will play Kraven in Underground 3: The Rise of the Lycans. Directed by Patrick Tatopoulos, this film is actually a prequel to the British "vampires vs werewolves" series that once starred Kate Beckinsale. Michael Sheen (The Queen) and Rhona Mitra (The Number 23) round out the cast. BloodyDisgusting has the scoop, and they also mention that the film "is set in the Dark Ages and traces the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires and their one-time werewolf slaves, the Lycans." Production will begin next month in Auckland, New Zealand.
