If you've made it this far, then you know what you're getting yourself into. If you have, for whatever reason, made it to this post by accident and don't want to ruin your Dark Knight viewing experience, then for God's sake…look away!!! Now, the business. Slash Film has uncovered some major Batman intel. We've got new plot twists, as-yet-unheard-of characters, and much much more. Peep the specifics below.
- Harvey Dent reveals himself to be Batman at a wild press conference at Superior Court Dent.
- The National Guard patrols through downtown Gotham.
- At Wayne Enterprises, a new character named Reese (played by Joshua Harto) tries to blackmail Lucius Fox using Batman’s identity.
- Bruce Wayne discusses his plans for Lau (played by Chin Han) with Lucius Fox. But the real question is, who is Lau?
- Someone breaks in to the Wayne Enterprises’ Research and Development, and Fox is notified.
- Jim Gordon explains “just enough” to get Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) to issue search warrants. For what, we don’t know.
- Jim Gordon tells Commissioner Loeb (played by Colin McFarlane) that his life is threatened, Loeb drinks to that.
- Harvey Dent promises the Mayor a crime-free 18 months right before a fake Batman hits the Mayors Office window.
- A fake Batman hangs from the flagpole outside City Hall.
- Jim Gordon tries to get Reese out out of the street entrance of a tv studio, but an angry mob appears. I wonder what Reese was doing on TV? May-be he was there to reveal Batman’s identity?
Comments
* A stirring eulogy for Harvey Dent given by Lieutenant Gordon (Gary Oldman). On stage in front of a huge backdrop image of Dent, Gordon claims Dent was murdered. The murder scene has not yet been filmed.
* Harvey Dent seeks Batman’s arrest. Dent views Batman as a nutcase running around Gotham doing whatever he wants. Dent wants him taken down.
* The Joker’s Clowns break the Joker out of jail. The resulting car chase includes multiple shots exchanged between two police cars and the Clown car which has the Joker in the backseat.
* Batman and the Joker face off during a wheeled confrontation. Batman, riding the Batpod, shoots and hits the Joker’s Van with two rockets. Simultaneously, one of the Joker’s Clowns makes a direct hit to the Batpod. Batman is thrown from the cycle in the explosion and lands in the street. One of the Clowns grabs Batman and is thrown back by a shocking jolt from the Bat’s electrified belt. The Joker kicks and spits on his Clown Henchman after approaching Batman himself. He spits a spray on Batman and immediately grabs him by the back of the head. The Joker has a knife to Batman’s throat ready to slice when Detective Gordon appears. Gordon’s shotgun is pressed to his head when the Joker slowly turns and jokes, ”Can ya give me a minute?” Sources on site reported the scene took at least 10 takes as the crew perfected the Joker’s spray and fought their own laughter.
* During a press conference or similar-type event, Harvey Dent announces that he will expose the true identity of Batman. Bruce Wayne watches from the side of the stage as Dent reveals Batman’s identity… Harvey Dent
* Batman kills The Joker
* Gordon uses a huge axe to smash the Batman spotlight symbol
