Ben Affleck will be starring in Miramax’s Mike Judge upcoming comedy “Extract.” He will be playing a worker in a flower extract factory who is dealing with a sequence of bad luck. One of them is his wife having an affair with a gigolo.
Clift Collins Jr. will also be cast as a factory worker. He loses his arm in a freak accident and is waiting for a huge settlement check. Mila Kunis and Kristen Wiig have already boarded the project and it is scheduled to bring shooting Monday in Los Angeles.
Mike Judge wrote the screenplay and will be producing it along side John Altschuler and Mike Rotenberg.
Affleck's last significant onscreen role was in 2006's "Hollywoodland." He has two films in the can: Universal's "State of Play" and Warner Bros.' "He's Just Not That into You."
Collins will next appear in "The Perfect Game" and "Crank 2" for Lionsgate, "Horsemen" for Mandate and J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" prequel for Paramount.
