News > Another "Harold & Kumar" adventure?

Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, the guys who wrote the first two "Harold & Kumar" movies, and who directed the second one, are planning on writing and directing a third installment. No news yet on the what the story will be, but the stars John Cho and Kal Penn have been optioned for the third adventure.

The first film garnered a cult following, earning $18 million domestically in 2004 and generating more than $30 million in DVD coin. The sequel, which cost $12 million, earned $14.9 million its opening weekend before topping out at $38 million. "Guantanamo Bay" is set for release on DVD on Tuesday.

Meh. While the first one was freakin' hilarious... the second one seemed very forced and rather uninspired. They would REALLY have to up the ante to make a third installment worthwhile.
