Virus / Zombie sequels 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later might see another chapter.  Creator Danny Boyle hinted at a third film and the fact the he wants to direct it.  According to SCI-FI Boyle has a premise but hasn't started scripting it so he doesn't want to reveal anything.

"There is an idea for a third part, but I haven't really done enough about it yet," he said. "But I've got an idea for it, so I can't really tell you any more than that at the moment, but hopefully that might happen,"
