Adam Sachs has been hired to do a rewrite on Casey Affleck's original draft for Aardvark Art's Ark, an animated family film starring Affleck.

The story follows a group of animals left behind when they are chosen to be left behind from Noah's Ark. Affleck was amused by Sachs and his thoughts on Affleck's original draft.

"He had a really good energy," said Affleck, "It's hard to tell what someone's going to write based on how they describe a script or story or a character. That said, here was a guy who seemed to really like the things that I liked about it, and he thought the same things were funny that I thought were funny about the story and about the characters."

The family film has been picked up by Warner Bros. and will be executive produced by Affleck as well.
